Commissions Unit- Interviewing the Aricci's

When it came time to filming the Aricci's I double checked all of my equipment and made sure that everything was functioning properly. I think I had the hardest time using the tripod because it was sort of clunky to use in the kitchen. The biggest concern was with space although I think it worked out quite well. I most mostly concerned with getting the sound right during the whole process. I could sense that Antony and Geri were slightly nervous at the start so I decided to give them some foresight into the questions I would ask them. In particular I also made sure to mention not to look into the camera as this appears very awkward on film.

Thankfully they responded well to my questions and I was able to get some really well thought out and provoking answers from them. I think it will work very well mixed with the other interviewees who Ilianna knows and the film will benefit greatly. Afterwards I was lucky enough to get some actuality shots for the project.

I was very appreciative of the chance of working with them both and am satisfied with the footage when I re-watched it.

I will probably write out the transcript for the interview over the next day or two.
